Jeffrey drives the strategic direction of StoreFinancial. As CEO of a pioneering gift card company, Jeffrey is helping lead StoreFinancial into a new phase of growth by focusing on innovative gift card solutions, prepaid card programs, client engagement, and operational efficiency.
Jeffrey draws on his significant executive management experience across banking, mortgage banking, consumer lending, manufacturing, and technology businesses. Before joining StoreFinancial, he held executive management positions at Metlife Bank, First Horizon National Corporation, First Tennessee Bank, Graphic Technology, and California Labels Corporation.
Jeffrey holds a bachelor’s degree in business science from Texas Christian University.

Jim Poteet
Chief Operating Officer & Vice President, Technology

Jim joined StoreFinancial in 2005 and oversees daily operations of the gift card company. He led the growth of StoreFinancial’s prepaid gift card platform, including the addition of new product families, new markets, and direct integration with card distributors and card networks.
Jim has extensive experience in information technology for private and public companies within the payments, wireless/broadband telecom, commercial software-as-a-service, and medical information technology industries. He has held senior positions for Cerner Corporation and Chase Paymentech.
Jim has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management from Oklahoma State University.

Lou Van Horn
Chief Financial Officer

Lou has served as StoreFinancial’s chief financial officer since 2004. He draws on his extensive financial and operational experience across a variety of industries and financial leadership roles.
Before joining StoreFinancial, Lou was vice president and comptroller with Kansas City Southern and was previously with the public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Lou has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College and a master of business degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mike Miroslaw
Executive Vice President

Mike leads the strategic direction of StoreFinancial and has significant executive management experience within the payments and telecommunications industries.
Before joining StoreFinancial in 2003, Mike was co-founder of UWI, a regional telecommunications company, which was acquired by Cincinnati Bell.
Mike has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas.

Mike Sobek

Before joining StoreFinancial, Michael participated in the launch of Card Compliant, LLC in 2008 as the executive director of business development. From 1997 to 2002, he was the president of Information Control Systems Inc., delivering banking software and card processing services to financial institutions across the United States.
Michael has also worked for Sprint, designing and delivering the industry’s first IP-based, national broadband network services procured by the U.S. Federal Government, including the Department of Defense, NASA, National Science Foundation, and the Department of Energy.
Michael holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Kansas. He also holds two patents related to methods and systems for processing, accounting, and administration of stored value cards.

Larry joined StoreFinancial in 2010 and leads the sales and marketing efforts. Larry has extensive experience in performance improvement and incentive industries working with Fortune 500 clients designing programs that impact workforce, sales organization and customer behavior.
Prior to joining StoreFinancial, Larry was EVP Sales and Marketing and the COO for Meridian Enterprises Corporation.

David Shewmaker

With more than 10 years of prepaid experience, David has substantial market development experience in the prepaid payments and transaction processing industry in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Before joining StoreFinancial in 2006, he served as a vice president with Euronet Worldwide and led its U.S. prepaid acquisition strategy.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree in international economics from George Washington University.

Mark Tomasic

Mark is a bank card industry security expert with experience in fraud detection, prevention, and investigations.
Before joining StoreFinancial, Mark was vice president of bank card security with Commerce Bank and assistant director of internal investigations with the City of Chicago.
He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in public administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mark is a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Tricia Chitwood
VP of Product

Tricia joined StoreFinancial in 2004 and leads the product development efforts from ideation to rollout. She was instrumental in developing and implementing such products as promotional cards, sundry sales, incentive fulfillment, RASER, virtual and reloadable cards.
Tricia has extensive experience in designing specialty payments solutions for clients in industries as diverse as aviation fuel to healthcare to malls. Prior to joining StoreFinancial, Tricia spearheaded departmental excellence efforts at Multi Service Corporation.
Tricia has a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas, where she majored in Political Science and French.
